Christmas after 9-11-2001

December 2001,

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year! A time full of laughter, joy and sharing. But for someone who has just experienced a tragedy it can be the loneliest time of his or her life. I know, I was there! Several years ago my house burned, my business burned down, and then my first husband (and my children's first Daddy) passed away suddenly at the age of 30.

The I Cried Too™ Project was birthed from this time and experience.

The thing that helped me the most when I was coming out of a depressed state of mind was seeing others who had experienced a tragedy and were happy again. We speak to children and adults all the time with the I Cried Too™ project that thank us for showing them there is hope. Will you help us give the children hope?

The children in New York and Washington DC need to know we care and that we remember them. They need to know that...I Cried Too! And they need to receive the help, encouragement, and healing that the project will bring to their soul. That is the most lasting gift anyone, or we can give him or her.

We, as a family, are giving up our traditional family Christmas this year to go to New York. (Sorry Mom) Our goal is to GIVE a project to every child who lost a parent or legal guardian in the 9-11-01 attack. With your help we will be able to do that. The project consists of a I Cried Too© grief recovery book, CD, plush bunny rabbit named Abundance®, and the beautiful and popular poem "Merry Christmas from Heaven"©.

Your donation to I Cried Too™ will go to ordering and distributing the I Cried Too™ grief recovery book, CD, and plush bunny rabbit named Abundance. 5000 children grieve everyday because of death, divorce, abuse, neglect and parent imprisonment. Your donations are healing the hearts of America's Children.  For those who have already contributed, "thank you so much" for what you have done for these hurting children. Because of you, the life of a child will be forever changed.
