New York Campaign - 2001

• Entire family featured as Masters of Ceremonies for the Twin Towers Orphans Fund and Toys for Tots Christmas Party in the Millennium Broadway Hudson Theatre.
• We met, greeted and ministered to over 50 families and children who lost a mom or dad on September 11. We distributed the I Cried Too™ grief recovery project to everyone. At this event one dad who lost his wife on 9-11-01 said, “It was the first time my son laughed since the tragedy” One widow said, “thanks for offering me hope”.
• Visited fire stations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
• Distributed 5000 special “Merry Christmas from Heaven” bookmarks to dozens of churches and funeral homes.
• Visited several churches and met children and families to distribute more books, CD’s, & bunny rabbits.
• Met New York Governor George Pataki, dignitaries and Katie Couric, host of the Today Show, outside NBC’s Today Show studio, shared the I Cried Too™ vision, and distributed our CD.
• Attended the press conference of the “Flag Raising at Ground Zero” dedication in Brooklyn where we gave our project to Fire Commissioner Von Essen and New York Fire Chaplain, Fr. Keenan and the press.
• Met with Catholic leaders to set up distribution.
• Visited Ground Zero, shot footage for PSA and met officials with Red Cross and other organizations for future distribution.
• Interviewed by several New York stations including WB Network, and a Christian radio station, which is playing the songs from the CD.
• Blessed with 26 volunteers who paid their own expenses and joined us in New York throughout the week.
• Local KJRH TV went with us and featured the I Cried Too™ project on three news reports.
• Our Pastor and church members participated by volunteering in many areas and contributing financially. Thank you so much!!!
